Krauthammer on Benghazi Suspect: This is War, Not a Criminal Investigation

Charles Krauthammer slammed President Obama’s decision to try Ahmed Abu Khattala, the newly captured Benghazi suspect, in the United States.
Krauthammer said it is “quite insane” that Khattala is in the custody of the Department of Justice and will be tried as if he committed a crime within the United States instead of Libya.
“He’s a prisoner of war. He has no Miranda Rights. Miranda Rights are meant for Americans- they are not intended for non-Americans, unlawful combatants – which he is. He needs to be under the military, where he can be interrogated like a prisoner of war and kept in interrogation until we squeeze everything that that we need out of him,” he told the Special Report panel Thursday evening.
Krauthammer also criticized the delayed capture of Khattala. “Did we learn nothing from 9/11?” he asked, clearly frustrated.
